If looking for rifles: Cabela's has Colt 6900 M-4gery's on sale. Flat top, no forward assist. Think it was $699.00.

Re: Where to buy Colts in PA?
You know, I just that's what many get pushed in gun stores, and see them on cops hips. I've seen so many threads here asking to help decide between a Glock, M&P, or XD. Over, and over again.
Get creative! CZ makes a full line of pistols. So does Beretta. How about save your pennies for an H&K, or a nice Colt like the OP?

Re: Where to buy Colts in PA?
Here's an update for the OP. National in Jersey Shore had a series 70 Stainless in Stock. They want $1059. They also had an XSE blued for $1049, that would be a series 80 however. Only other colt was a Defender also $1049. They have like 20 different Kimbers instock at the moment and a very nice used Remmington R1 for $549.
That's about all I saw for 1911's in the case. They may have others in the safe in back so it might be worth a call to them. They seem to be ay least $100 lower than the other shops you have tried.
I struck out on finding the powder I was looking for so I might end up at Saurs or Troxells tomorrow. I'll update if I find anything.
On a side note if anyone local is looking for the Glock 42 or 41 they had both in stock as well. 42 was $425. Didn't see the price on the 41 but they did have one in the case.

Last I heard Surplus City was the #1 retailer of Colts...period. Prices can't be beat- go see Rob if you want a Colt.
