Re: Before and After - How has PAFOA Changed YOU?
LOL! That was a carpet remnant that I had just bought to put in the bed of my truck! I laid it in the yard and got a 6' step ladder to take the pic from above.
After that it was pretty much driveway gravel for a LONG time before I decided I didn't care what anyone thought about the condition of my deck...
(BEFORE PAFOA I didn't think I could afford ONE AR15)

How has PAFOA changed me?
I'd say quite drastically. For me It has been great source of info from old guns to new guns, gear and gadget reviews and heads ups that I was uninformed of or I'm interested in.
Also great for help in troubleshooting.
It has made me aware of the necessity of paying attention to the law and being active in joining pro gun organizations and contacting those dirty politicians who supposedly work for us. In addition, I met a stranger on the forum who sponsored me to get into a gun club. I've also gotten exposure to some great bands I never would have heard of. I even learned to correct my grammar , you know "It's you're NOT your" (You know who you are) LOL. I also was able to get my rep back after gnbrotz blew PAFOA up a few years back. Joking aside we also have great moderators but I'm not posting in that thread
I could go on and on. PAFOA is awesome The only thing kinda negative is I dont post as much as I'd like due to the realities of the internet see the second paragraph under #3

I knew this logging in to PAFOA for the first time on January 13, 2007, and it has been reaffirmed many times over the years. Firearm ownership means something different to everybody. Also, that opinions are like assholes, everybody has one. I've also had the chance to meet and interact with some like minded people.

Re: Before and After - How has PAFOA Changed YOU?
When I first started posting here I was twenty something with my head up my ass. I had a new family and needed a firearm to protect them. I didn't pay attention to politics or world events. If I voted, it was for whoever the union reps said I should vote for.
Ten years later, I'm not that person any more. I pulled my head out of the sand and I see what's going on in the world, and it has made me an angrier person than I ever was.
Sometimes I wonder if I would be a happier person if I was still oblivious. Sometimes I think about disconnecting from the world and just not caring. I don't know if PAFOA changed me, but I know that I changed, and I don't think I can ever go back to the person I was before.

*gets out doll*
This is where PAFOA touched me.
I miss the large theme matches I would come up for from VA that Lastdefender would put on. The Zombie ones were epic. I understand why they scaled down but damm they were fun.Owner Trigger Time LLc 01 FFL/NFA Saylorsburg, PA. Sales/Service/Transfers/Training
