PA convention center.... allowed to CC?
Hello all.
I'm taking my 5 year old son to the PA Convention Center this Sunday, Jan 7.
I would like to know if I will be able to make it the building with my edc. I will most likly be taking the train, so i would not be able to store my hand gun if i am denied entry.
Anyone have any insight, or recent experience?
Thanks in advance!

Should be fine. I CCed there when the wife and I went to the flower show a few years ago.

I believe I've heard they only screen for weapons during the tattoo convention. My fiance is at the bridal expo right now, I can ask her when she gets back.

Just an FYI.. their Plan of Ops states "Please note: Firearms are prohibited on the premises of the PCC, inside the building and the surrounding grounds, except for use by authorized law enforcement personnel." https://www.paconvention.com/assets/...53e23a7749.pdf
They also prohibit Contract security companies and anybody working from carrying a firearm.

From reading the most of the Operations it would appear the Convention Center is state owned????? If so that would contradict state law on preemption.
Since it seems a grey area there is CANT
