    Default New Ruger LCP!!

Got a new Ruger LCP from the wife and son for fathers day--ahead of time. Went out to fire it--12 Yards-36 feet. Definately a lot more misses than my Glock 17 but I guess it's really made for close in firing. I'll still have to put in a lot more practice!! But I love it--perfect for carry. Also 50 rounds and not one FTF!!

Congrats on getting a great little pocket gun! The trigger will take sometime to get used to, but in time you will get much better. I put a CTC laser on mine and just love the whole package.

Here is a pic of mine with my holsters for you to check out, between the 3 of them I can carry it everyday, everywhere to do everything.

Congrats on the LCP! I love mine as well and after 150 rounds she has only had 3 FTF. I'm not carrying her till i can have 100 rounds flawless. And I just discovered it fits perfectly into my cell phone case lol so I can save some money there

Have had mine over a year. Equipped with Crimson Trace Laser (reccommended). Shoot at least 50 rounds every other month and have never had a FTF. As I got use to the gun (trigger pull) my accuarcy improved greatly. Looks like you have a great wife and son. Congrats.

I wish they made the LCP in 9mm.

I just tell myself it's for short distance protection and shoots 9mm shorts

I'd be more open to shooting .380 if it wasn't more expensive than 9mm and easier to find.

I pay the same price for 380 and 9mm. Just checked Cabelas site and they list the Hornady 380 & 9mm at the same price. My area we had more trouble finding 9mm but that seems to be over.

Good choice! I bought my LCP post recall in March 2009. I added a CT last summer and the gun has performed without problems. Long trigger pull but great for concealment in a wallet hoster like a previous poster displayed. I plan to shoot mouse guns this Saturday: Kel-Tec 32 cal, LCP and Beretta Bobcat. Enjoy your gun!

I like my LCP too, but getting used to that long trigger pull took some time.
