Re: Mountain lions in Pa?
It's all good, bro. Like I said earlier, I don't doubt that people think they saw a Mtn lion, UFO, yheti, etc. I just doubt that they actually saw what they think they saw.
Keep in mind that this comes from someone who's seen "things" in the "bush" that I am unsure about myself.
I've spent many (countless) a day/night/week/month in the field and have seen many things I am, to this day, unsure about.
Those "things" I've put a bullet or arrow in though, I'msure about them.Last edited by Pa. Patriot; December 9th, 2007 at 04:45 AM.

Re: Mountain lions in Pa?
Bobcat population is apparently pretty high this year from what the PGC and hunting forums have been reporting.
WHere I hunt I have not seen ay sign this year though but
I saw a pretty big one just after dusk while driving out from where I was bow hunting in late Oct.

Re: Mountain lions in Pa?
The PGC does all sorts of stuff without public knowedge.
I saw a wolf in Forest county. I know it was a wolf not a coyote, I was about 20 yards from it.
I also have seen tracks that could have been mistaken for a Mountain Lion but we narrowed it down to the biggest damn Bobcat in PA.
The coyote problem here in the Erie, Crawford, Warren region is out of control.
On Saturday we came accross an absolute slaughter of a whole flock of Turkeys (about 15) and there were coyote tracks everywhere.
We can't seem to kill enough of these things. Then we wonder "where did the deer go?"
