Buying a firearm out of state, shipping it home.

Due to the latest experience I had travelling with my pistol, I would ask the airline ticketing agent at the check-in counter to request TSA to inspect your properly secured firearm before you walk away from the ticketing counter. One anti-gun TSA agent is all it takes to ruin your vacation.

You can, it just has to be transferred to an FFL in PA. This doesn't help the OP, but it would have worked in your case.

This would require having a standing relationship with your FFL, no? You would at least need to know which FFL for the out-of-state guy to send it to. In any case, you ain't leaving the shop with the gun.

Since we are only 5 minutes from the Cabela's in Triadelphia, WV, we pick up firearms there almost weekly for our PA customers.

Best thing to do, move to Arizona. Buy gun.

Then move back to PA. No need for PA form.
