BTW mine has the safety too. I like that it's small and doesn't interfere with draw although it's easy to flick off. My full size M&P safety seems like a large paddle and can definately get bumped on or off by mistake. EM you should check out a DiSantis or other pocket holster as the Shield is small enough to be comfy unless you're wearing skinny jeans.

My mags and ammo should be here on Wednesday.

I'm liking the Bravo Concealment OWB holster.
I went to pick up a pizza tonight and since it's warm, I just wore an untucked Tshirt which worked just fine to cover/conceal, and since the Kydex on the back side comes up higher, it keeps the gun from touching bare skin. Nice and comfy, and snug to the body without rough/sharp parts of the gun rubbing against you.

I still haven't gotten a sturdy belt, but will eventually get something better than the web belt I currently wear. The gun seems to carry pretty well in spite of the crappy belt - I assume thanks to the decent holster and the fact that the Shield isn't all that heavy.

Another huge plus that I don't get when wearing an IWB holster that clips on, is that I can slide this holster forward or back just a bit as needed. I push it forward about an inch for better comfort when seated in the car, then I push it back when I get out. (it can't move TOO far because of the belt loops on the pants)

Oh... regarding "pocket carry" - never gonna happen. Pocket carry mystifies me and I can't understand how anyone can do that, but that's me, I'm not a big guy and I don't wear big, baggy pants - just normal denim jeans - not skinny jeans.
I hate having a money clip in my pocket, so trying to jam a handgun in there would make me nuts. I wouldn't even consider carrying my P32 like that.

Carrying OWB is so freeing. I love it!

    I know how you feel.

I carry OWB during the winter when coats/jackets conceal sufficiently by themselves. Then I carry IWB in warmer weather (concealment of some sort is necessary for me, at least during working hours).

Every October or so when I can throw on the OWB holster under a baggy flannel shirt/jacket, it's like "FREE AT LAST!"...

I'm still happy with the Shield and with the Bravo Concealment holster.
It carries well without any bulk. It conceals well too and the holster is working out great.

I haven't shot mine in far too long... for much same reasons.

BUT I'm taking Thursday off work and it's supposed to be about 60 here. I'm grabbing ALL the pistols and rifles and heading for the range. Gonna kill me some paper real dead.

    Benefits of self-employment, I suppose.

Mind you, I can't 'afford' a day off either: I'll end up working nights and weekends to make up for it.

So it's less a day off than a 'schedule shift' really.

But hey, at least my 'boss' is okay with it :-)

I have found that I have always worked harder and longer when self employed.
But it was also more enjoyable and fulfilling.
