Separate WTB from WTS

I'd like to see Want-to-Buy posts in a separate section from Want-to-Sell/Trade posts. Nothing frustrates me more than while skimming through the classifieds I think I see something I want for sale only to find out that it's someone looking for that item.

I'm not sure I understand the wisdom behind mixing two obviously separate types of posts.

It's also at the bottom of every thread listing in the filtering options form.

i wouldreally like this option too. 90% or more of forum have that feature because it works. then why not just have 1 forum and we can search for everything?? seperate subforums is just nicer

I agree, separate sub sections make it so much more convenient to buy, sell and trade items on a forum. I did this on a forum I am a super mod at and it took me all of 45 minutes to make the new sub forums and arrange the threads accordingly. Everyone was very thankful for the change as well.

I'd still like to see them in their own separate subforum. That being said, however, this method works somewhat.

Yep. I don't know about others but I have been looking to buy things and don't even bother looking there anymore because it's just annoying how it's set up. Yeah, ok, there's the search thing. I prefer a little more organization though.

I don't mean that to sound rude either. I'm just saying that's my opinion.

I usually just bookmark the Classified section...have gotten some good deals here.

It would be more visible without adding a second/third forum if it had something a bit more distinct as the tag.....

Wanted to SELL...
Buy....
For Trade....

Vs.

Wanted to Sell
Wanted to Buy
Want to Trade

Just the different length of the line makes it a bit more visible. I don't usually (on other sites) go to a "want to buy" forum and look around. Having it in one forum makes me consider if I have something that they want....

Ahhh, what did you say??

I think the problem is that most of us aren't that computer literate. So, there may be neat ways to do these searches. But if it isn't really simple. I'll never figure it out. And I'ld bet that is the same for the largest group of members on here.

Remember... Simple for you, isn't simple for everyone. Just saying.
