This has been passed around before, but I lost the link, so thanks!

I just wish there was other ammo tested, like Corbon DPX and Speer Short-Barrel to name just two.

I do thank you for the link, but I never liked the idea of testing bullets using naked water jugs. When the naked, zombie, water jugs start attacking, I will pay more attention. Most attackers wear clothing of different types and thickness. Clothing tends to cause problems with most hollow-point bullets. The clothing tends to plug the hollow-point, which turns the round into a FMJ essentially. This is why I like .40 and .45 so much. No matter what happens, you will create a .40 or .45 inch hole. A better test would be to test the bullets when fired into ballistic gelatin that had various pieces of cloth and leather in front of the gel.

I totally agree. I think the Hornady critical defense would be a good one to test to see if it corrcets this problem of clothing and expansion.

I've done a couple tests with water jugs, very similar to this one, with some 9mm Speer Gold Dots. The Gold Dots consistently "flowered" pretty much the exact same way, every single time. They definitely got a design that works, and works very well.

Definitely my favorite personal defense round.
