Default Weekend Range Trip to Greater Philly Area

Later this spring, my wife and I are planning a road trip over to the Greater Philly area to check out some indoor ranges.

So far this is the list that I have for the indoor ranges in the area:
    Targetmaster - Chadds Ford
    Firing Line - Philly
    Pistol People - Bensalem
    Ready Aim Fire - Bristol
    Double Action - Yeadon
    Classic Pistol - Southampton

Are there any more indoor ranges in the area. We are looking at being over there 2-3 days for a shooting get away.

Which ones are a "must go to" over the others,

Personally, I think Classic Pistol should be at the top of your list. It's a busy range, certainly, but it's probably the nicest range in the area. Between good ammo prices (buy theirs or use your own), plenty of rental guns if that's your thing (you can only shoot their ammo out of their guns), and a nice facility, you can't go wrong. You can shoot pretty much everything from 22LR to 50AE, pistols or rifles. It does get busy there during the weekend, but there's a reason for that -- the place is great! Fortunately, they have plenty of guns available for sale, too, so there's lots of window shopping you can do! I've been a member there for a few years now, and love the place. Give them a ring to see what their lane and gun rental rates are like so you'll know before you go.

    All of what FNG19 said.

Plus, us members can bring in a guest very cheap. So if meeting board members while at it is your thing, drop us a note and I bet a few of us will show up.

I used to go to Target World in Chalfont in the past when I lived there. They rent pistols and were never very busy from what I remember. http://www.targetworldinc.com.

Check the feedback on PAFOA, and you'll find out why they never busy

As of the OP - add Clayton's to the list. They opened their range couple of month ago and it's nice. Check the feedback, it should be few topics below.

Do you consider outdoor ranges? They will be waaaaaay cheaper for 2-3 days of shooting for several people.

The range at Clayton's is nice, but it's awfully loud (even by indoor range standards!). It has potential, though, and it seems like a nice facility. Once they get the sound situation figured out, it'll be even nicer. It's also a good gun shop to browse and window shop in. The nice thing is that Classic and Clayton's aren't that far apart, so you could visit them both in one day (hours of operation allowing, of course).

Heck, if you're going to be going to Clayton's, go a little further up the road to Tanners. It's not a range, but it's a really neat gun shop with great staff. If nothing else, you can window shop and say that you've been there.

Tanners totally worth visiting. And outdoor range is right around the corner from there.

As of the Clayton's sound issue - I'll talk to Ed. Maybe it's already in the pipeline.
