Gun shows should put up signs requesting that you eliminate Governor Wolf as Governor, send him home. Gun owners have to come out and vote and stop falling for the democrat party lies and democrat funded third party pot heads.

PA still allows private long gun sales, if you haven't availed yourself of this legal avenue to acquire a long gun, what are you waiting for?

Right....when buying long guns I try to only do it that way.

I was just reading this this AM in the newspaper. "Commonsense" gun laws so the kids can feel safe at school? There is no common sense in their line of thinking if they think that more laws are going to make kids any safer at school. They need to get to the root of the problem and make ALL of the kids feel safe at school when they're penned in there with the hoodlums. What they need to do is remove the bullying and harassing hoodlums in order to make the rest of them feel safe at school so they don't have to devise their own ways to eliminate the problem.

Law makers consider new gun laws following the mass hysteria after the latest shooting permitted by government inaction.

    Cant find the comment section.

    Screw wolf.

That's exactly what he said...all long guns.

And the idiot also said you can buy an "assault style weapon" without a background check currently. If the uneducated (in firearms) moron means AR-15s, no you cannot...they require an FFL transfer and background check, even for just the lower receiver. You cannot buy an AR-15 without a background check. He was sure to misuse the word "loophole" as many times as possible.

You can make one from an 80%, but that's a separate issue and not what he was talking about.

Before the election too. We might have to thank him for his honesty when he loses.

Re: bold section......only if purchased from an FFL dealer. I can sell you my AR-15, private seller to private seller, with no paperwork or record of sale or transfer. I can even set up at a gun show with a table and sell it over that table to you, private seller to private buyer in PA. No background, no paperwork.

So? You're selling a legal item to someone that you have no reason to believe is prohibited from owning it. Unless you're in the business of selling firearms you shouldn't need a license.

The problem is the slippery slope of universal background checks then disallows your lifelong best friend borrowing your rifle for a competition or a hunt or if his is getting worked on by a gunsmith. You'd have to get government permission first. I don't think so...
