Junk mail from NRA
I got a piece of mail with GUN CONFISCATION NOTICE written on the outside of it today from the NRA. I usually throw their shit right in the trash but I had to see what this was and of course, it was "stop gun confiscation in virginia, join NRA" but what they really mean is "buy the feeling that you're making a difference when in reality, you're just making wayne lapierre wealthier". I had been a member for years until 2019 when I didn't renew because it started to feel like a waste of money because I saw no evidence they were doing ANYTHING to make a difference. Am I wrong?

Make you own decision with the NRA. I agree it does need fixing. The are some other pro gun organizations that have stepped up to the plate to consider joining.
Bloomberg opened offices in some forty states just to push his anti second amendment agenda via state laws. That's why VA,WA , AZ are getting hit with anti gun legislation on the state level. More states are on the way.

NRA has the contacts. We have the best congress money can buy. Which means money is needed.
If the politicians, legislators and judges would stop violating the constitution, the NRA could go back to it's former model, like when the nationals were shot at Sea Girt, New Jersey.There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.
