Re: Anyone else boycotting the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show?
I sent them an email stating I won't be attending the show or any future shows until the sponsor changes. Instead I'll donate the entry fee and the parking fee to the NRA.

Statement from James Kroll (Dr Deer)
Dr Kroll is calling for a Boycott on the Harrisburg Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show. They have asked many of my friends that own gun shops and sporting shops to not display firearms or signs of gun manufactures that "They" feel are not appropriate. Is your position a short term gain - or a long term loss?

I sent them an email too, but no one has bothered to respond to me. I published the text of it here in the thread on the Trop gun shop pulling out.

Re: Anyone else boycotting the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show?
This year was going to be my first year in a while to attend. Guess maybe my wife and I will spend a little time at the range that day. Total hypocracy!

Re: Anyone else boycotting the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show?
I wont be going this year even if they change their stance.
www.atlantictactical.com have pulled out also
As you know, earlier this week, Reed Expositions, the managing group behind the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show, unilaterally decided to prohibit the sale of "assault rifles" and "high capacity" magazines at this show. We've spent several days attempting to contact the show organizers in an effort to reason with them. Neither our calls or emails have been returned.
This is a clear assault on the rights afforded to our fellow citizens under the 2nd Amendment. As our founders so clearly stated, these rights shall not be infringed.
In this spirit, we are exercising the power of another great American concept... that of free enterprise. We have decided we will not be exhibiting at this show and we have demanded an immediate refund of our monies.
Stand and Fight.

I'm definitely not going.
IANAL. I don't give legal advice. I'm only stating my OPINION.
(Did I really need to say that on an Internet forum? LOL)

Here's one exhibitor who has cancelled. Keep him in mind if you can utilize his product. http://www.warriortalk.com/showthrea...rom-a-Big-Show
