Still not much to see. I guess I should start a thread to show progress.

Have had a M1A on the bucket list so figured I'd grab this 2006 never fired beauty with an extra higher cap mag today for a nice price And while at my shop, someone came in to unload their Rock Island 380 and another steal so why not - lol.

Nice M1A and glad to see you also picked up the real magazine for it! I checked it off my BL a few years ago too, my favorite gun. Although my stock is composite, a little jealous of your wood furniture.

You need a flash hider with bayonet lug first.

^^ couldn't figure out what you were talking about at first - google is my friend. Same hider but with bayonet mount. Got it. Didn't even notice it didn't have the lug....
    Thanks!

Springfield hasn't bothered putting them back on since the assault weapon ban expired so they're still legal in ban states. Luckily Sarco has you covered https://www.sarcoinc.com/m14-flash-h...h-bayonet-lug/

Got this RIA 1911 in 9mm. Felt rough in the store, cleaned it up and it feels a little smoother now. Also got a Wilson mag for it as well. Very plain, basic GI style 1911. Gonna eventually replace the grips with something slightly nicer than whats on them. Even if its the USGI brown plastic WW2 grips.

Why the low-capacity 20 round AR mags? I like the surefeed's, I just ordered a bunch from botach.
