Re: Got 'told on' by a fellow shopper at the supermarket
Given that we are currently under a State of Emergency, and ALL carry requires your LTCF, the question is moot. That said:
An unlicensed person exercising their right to open carry on foot in a store would not be able - under PA law - to legally "cover it up" to accommodate the 'frightened' customers. Your options would be to leave or tell them to piss off.

Re: Got 'told on' by a fellow shopper at the supermarket
The situation was a fair settlement. Both you and the bearded product of our society went away somewhat dissatisfied. He that you could remain in the store, and you that you acquiesced to keep the peace. A very good example of compromise.
Covering up sans LTCF would be a violation of law, but is obviously moot, unless you walked to the store unlicensed. There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Re: Got 'told on' by a fellow shopper at the supermarket
If I were in that situation - with my wife present - I'd choose my response carefully too.
Because she would embarrass the fuck out of me when she told them to shove their groceries up their ass and then go on to tell the whiny patron pretty much the same.
LOL!
Honestly, I don't see this as a "win". You complied. The end.
You certainly didn't need to - you could have left. "Trespass" is only an issue if you tell them to fuck off and continue to shop.
Nobody "learned anything" about gun owners except that by complaining, they can get their way. They didn't get you arrested, of made to leave, but their "win" was bigger than your win to them.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: Got 'told on' by a fellow shopper at the supermarket
There are many folks who see an OCer, wonder about it, and look up on their phones the law. I know this b/c I’ve Overhead such conservations of nearby patrons of restaurants. Just b/c nobody says anything does not entail that nobody’s learning. Just b/c one leftist nitwit spoke up entails nothing whatsoever about the possible positive education of the other patrons. From the dissatisfaction of the nitwit, it would appear he learned that guns are legal here inAmerica

I believe what is meant is OC-ing can be a cause of reaction. If that were not true, there would not be a completely separate category devoted to OC experiences.
