Thanks for the suggestions so far.
I am a member of USAA but they pissed me off for other reasons, so fuck em.Life has a melody. Not great, not terrible.

Re: Homeowners insurance and guns.
I have not *quite* exceeded NRA coverage limits for my firearms - yet - but I have never heard nor read a single concerning thing about firearms from USAA.
In my experience they (USAA) are also quite easy to deal with when you need them, usually during some of the un-better times, like this one...

Re: Homeowners insurance and guns.
I have been a longtime Amica customer and they treated us well for the one and only (knock wood) auto claim we had. Superbly. Amica's contract adjuster looked at the vehicle the day after the accident and authorized repair to start immediately. We had the Explorer back exactly two weeks later. Annual premium increased by $28.
My homeowners insurance with Amica is replacement value, with a non-specific increased contents value rider. I did not inform them of model numbers, serial numbers, or quantity. I did inform them of a comprehensive spreadsheet and multiple digital photos of each item (firearm, antiques, books, glassware, etc.) in addition of photos of each room's general contents. They were satisfied with that, but they do not have copies of it. The copies are in a SDB in the bank. The SS is updated monthly, and stored on my youngest's computer as well.

State Farm has always treated me well, House and all contents including firearms covered, all I was asked is how much coverage did I want on the firearms and other contents. Also have Vehicle and Boat coverage with them.
