Besides having supplies, I’ve been thinking about how to mitigate exposure to infection. Obvious stuff, but critical. Especially when common sense and early statistics indicate risk is higher for us seasoned citizens.

So this morning I hit the local grocery store early. Surprise surprise. Four people in the store, never got closer than ten feet from anyone, and got out in ten minutes.

Most other essential activities for us don’t involve crowds, so this is a big reduction in potential exposure.

    This is wise.

This morning, attendance at mass was down about a third. And the Priest said no shaking hands during the “sign of piece”... everyone was happy to oblige.

I mean, if you really want to go full on disease prevention get masks, gloves, coveralls and high rubber boots. Every time you go out wear that outfit, then when you come home change out of it before entering your house, disinfect the boots with a bleach solution, immediately bag and wash the coveralls and take a long shower.

This is where I'm at too, prevention. I could be wrong but I'm not worried about availability of supplies and there is more than one way to wipen ze arse. But trips to AC and such are definitely out for now. I am wondering about the Oaks show next weekend though and it may come down to what cases have shown up around here during this week.

Picked up 10 food safe 5 gallon buckets at Lowe’s today.

Of course they didn’t get have the lids. I had to order those and sent to the house with free shipping.

Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

I wish I could order a wife online. That would be pretty sweet.

    Current wife doesn’t take orders.
