    I own a colt and a M&P and I think the colt is alot better. I would also recommend it.

    My Colt has no problem with any ammo including cheap steel case tula.

    I'm assuming OTD means its new in a shop. That's a pre-Newtown price so very fair and I'd buy the Colt as well.

    If it matters, Colt will hold its value better if you ever want to re-sell it.

    I would rather spend the little extra getting one shipped in. But I prefer midlength.

    Colt vs M&P I would rather have the Colt. For a .22lr AR the other way around.

    I've mostly shot 55gr Federal ball ammo out of it. I have experimented with the Israeli ball ammo, Russian Brown Bear ammo and Prvt ammo. Right now, I have my mags loaded up with 50gr American Eagle polymer tipped frangible .223 Remingtons.

    I have shot Herters Steel cased and both Wolf and Tulammo steel cased out of my 6920 and have never had any trouble no matter what i shot out of it.

    Yes.

    I own the 6720 the pencil barrel MOE FDE version and love it.

    Seems that the general consensus is...

    Spend the extra $300 and get the Colt M4 over the S&W M&P 15.
