Out of State Permit

I live in NY and I would like to get a permit to carry in PA, how do I do that?

You need to have a permit issued from NY....

Although all PA sheriffs are required to Shall Issue most wont to a non-resident. Sheriff of Centre County is easiest to deal with.

Unless you have a license from your home state, you can not get a non-resident PA LTCF. You would have to go with a Utah or Florida license. If you do have one from NY, then fill out the application for Centre county and mail it in.

Centre County Sheriff is great to deal with. Before I moved to PA I got a non-resident from there and I had it mailed to me within a week.

You may have issues obtaining a non res pa if your NY permit is not unrestricted.
