Re: Schuylkill County Members: Roll Call
I find it very funny that other Pennsylvania's think that because we are coal crackers that we cannot compete a sentence. I am living in Cressona, but I am originality from North of the mountain. Both my grandfathers as well as my father were coal miners. I am proud to be a coal cracker and I love my guns!

Re: Schuylkill County Members: Roll Call
My grandfather was a miner. People from other areas definitely think we are "illiterate" here or at least "hicks", but I've lived here all my life and don't care about what others think of us! I love to shoot, have been to the Burma range a few times, and own many firearms.

Yep. Barnesville represented here. Grew up in Mahanoy City, moved to Frackville, and then to Barnesville just a few years ago.....

Re: Schuylkill County Members: Roll Call
When I was a kid my step dad would take us "fossil hunting" and shooting in the strip mines off Burma Road. Now I'm 41yrs old and wanted to bring my kids up there. My Step grandfather built the old boy scout building at the end of E. Lawton St. I remember a lot of good times hiking those hills. When we were kids we didn't care much about the legalities of shooting on public/private land. Now that I'm an adult I really don't need any issues. So what's the deal out there? It's been 20 years or so since I've been there. Is it still pretty much the same? Or are we going to get hassled shooting into old shale banks?

Re: Schuylkill County Members: Roll Call
Its still all clear to shoot up The Burma. There are actually a couple of other places up there now. As a matter of fact, if it isn't pouring on Saturday, a bunch of us are planning on going up there.

Mahanoy City here. The Burma spot is getting kinda crowded. Anybody know any other spots?
