Wow, this is tragic. Those poor kids!! This is definitely not something I thought I would read on here.

Before I opened the thread I thought - wow maybe she got caught up by a bad guy without her gun - didn't expect to read her husband allegedly shot and killed her.

Is anyone close with the family - are we thinking about a fundraiser for the kids?

I can only imagine what kind of a field day the media and everyone around her is going to have with this. She had a lot of people itching for retribution from all that other stuff, and I'm sure it will really cast an ugly cloud over all of this for her family, and us.

Still pretty hard to process...

That's why all of us need to stick together and do whatever we can from letting the media use her for their cause. She deserves a helluva lot better than that and it's up to all gun owners to prevent it.

I was very saddened to hear about this. I knew her reasonably well, and was here throughout her entire ordeal. This is a tragedy, and I'm very sorry that the children are left to deal with this mess and were there for the entire thing. My prayers go out to the family; if any of the family are reading this, my condolences and prayers go out to you.
