We need such reasonable common sense gun legislation like Canada has, here in the US.

Geez, not only do you have to jump through all sorts of hoops just to get a permit to purchase, you still need a separate permit just to take your purchase home.

Just regulate the item to the point no one wants to go through the process. Instant gun control by personal choice.

America must suffer until it reaches the point that Liberty is more important than Comforts.

And, if it's for shooting at a club (as opposed to "collecting"), you need an *annual* permit (6 letters of reference, police check, interviews with everyone down to your grade 1 teachers - annually) to take it to the club BEFORE applying for the separate permit to take it home.

There's just not enough "nope" for me to deal with that.

Is this the case for all of Canada, or just certain areas, like their more metropolitan areas? With a country as large as Canada, being very rural, I would imagine big game hunting is phenomenal there. Of course, with no one there to shoot anything, I'd imagine the critters are pretty cocky.

It is only a couple steps worse than some places in the U.S.A. The result is about the same in places likes NJ.
    Some people just plain suck.
