Smiley face challenge.
Figured Id put this in General so it gets more coverage.
Print out and take this target to the range with you and try to make your best smiley face using at least 8 shots.
Post your results and maybe we can get some frendly competition going while we improve out aim. Be honest and fill out all info before posting.
A recognizable smiley gets scored as 8pts with a 2pt deduction for fliers. anything over 8 shots fliers deduct 4 pts. Frowns and smirks will get credit depending on their creativeness or lack there of.
2pt deduction for drawling aim points on targets.
Fire away!

Does this count? I saw this at the local sportsmens club and thought it was pretty cool so I figured I would post it.

Indoor range SPAG, distance limit of 55 feet.
Target shot at 55 feet, Marlin 336XLR 30-30 sometime last year.

Re: Smiley face challenge.
You could always just buy a pack of paper or plastic plates at the dollar store. Nice cheap targets (70 targets for a buck?). Yellow plastic picnic plates (and some tape) shouldn't be more'n $2.
This looks like a fun challenge I'll have to try it out next time I'm at the range. I always have tons of paper plates handy.

We're going down to visit my sis-in-law and her husband and going to have a whole day of shooting. I will have to take part in this challenge and have them try it out for fun as well!!

Re: Smiley face challenge.
I might have to try this with my varmint gun. At 200 yards.
I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).
