Can you make a Dueling Tree
http://www.metaltargets.com/DuelingTrees.htm
check it out at the link above. Been looking at them for a while. This is what appears to be the easiest to construct. Me... I'm not gifted enough to construct something like this. But I bet someone out there is. These would be a blast at the PAFOA shoots. The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control....

Re: Can you make a Dueling Tree
I imagine it would be pretty easy to make one. Some AR500 plates, some heavy pipe, a piece of solid round stock, and a chunk of steel to use as a base. It can be done.

If someone decides to try and make one of these. Here is something to consider. Never thought of this from looking at the picture. It will make it a bit harder to do.

I was thinking of just looking for a 10" gong hardened enough for rifle shots and call it a day. 10" is good enough for iron sights or for precision work on a rifle and perect for short-medium range pistol. The trees are fun though, a friend of mine had one for his .22's, was a blast.

As big a crowd pleaser that the Texas Star is for this gang. I would imagine this would be a show stopper. Lining up side by side against each other to rapidly and accurately fire on a target in a race. Trying to spin the targets all to your opponents side before he can spin them back again. Yeah, we would like this thing big time. If I could make it, I would.

Skeet is a sport where you are better to hit half of each bird then completely blast one and miss the other completely.

If no one wants to build one. Maybe we could collect money to buy one. Just a thought. There is only a mess load of us. Wouldn't cost much. It would be PAFOA Property.
