They cant sell guns after ten, ammo can be sold at anytime. I had a wally world genius tell me they were out of all their ammo because dhs took it from their warehouses.

Do you mean that it's Walmart corporate policy to not sell guns after 10:00 pm?

(Or are you claiming there's a federal law prohibiting sales of firearms after 10:00?)

Actually, I believe it's probably more like 9:00pm since that's when PICS shuts down.

washington walmart has some .45 winchester white at ~$21

Yeah, I thought as much, just wanted to be sure, besides, what would selling ammo after 10 PM have to do with anything ? Oh wait, since when do any recent gun laws make any sense anyway ?

I think its just the policy of the store, the walmart near me has had the policy since the early 2000's (its been as long as i can remember at least) and it has not changed, you can buy the ammo they have sitting out like some shotty shells etc, but it more they dont schedule a person at the ammo counter at night so they just say no ammo purchases after a cretin time.

Yeah you guys have to understand how retail stores work. Genereally the people who work in certain departments are trained specifically for that department and have keys for that department. its keeps issues from happening like at the pet store where my fiance works they just had some girl sell a tortoise as some kind of other turtle at a $100 price difference.

just imagine if some one starting selling ammo with out asking for i.d.

I know this is the ammo thread but figured this would be worth posting. Walmart in Monaca PA got 4 ar's in yesterday. That's the first time I have ever seen them carry anything decent. 2 colts one with magpul acc., and the other 2 were either dpms or bushmaster. Didn't pay much attention to them. But they still had nothing as far as ammunition.

Walmart has had ARs for well over a year now, maybe longer. Not all places stock them. It seems to have started small and grown.

well how old do you look? I'm 27 but look 17 when i shave. I also get i.d. at weird places. i don't get i.d. buying liquor but if some one asks me to pick them up smokes the kids at wawa always hit me up for i.d.
