S&W Guardian in 9mm?
I visited a new local gunshop yesterday. He had a subcompact semi labeled S&W Guardian in 9mm. I didn't know they made them in 9mm, only 380. Am I wrong? Do they come in 9mm now?

Re: S&W Guardian in 9mm?
Technically, a .380 is a 9mm cartridge but its a 9x17mm round. However the 9mm round most people are aware of is a longer 9x19mm "Luger" cartridge. So it probably is a .380 pistol after all. Be aware though that out in the world about 20 different types of 9mm cartridges exist, it's the lenght of the cartridge that differs. The top three being the 9x19mm Luger, the 9x17mm (.380 ACP) and the 9x18mm Makarov. Learn more here: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/9_mm_caliber
Hope this helps.Last edited by LifeInPa; November 19th, 2011 at 11:47 AM.

Re: S&W Guardian in 9mm?
I'm bad. I typed Guardian, but was thinking Bodyguard. I meant to ask if there was a Bodyguard in 9 mm?? Sorry for my stupidity!!!

Re: S&W Guardian in 9mm?
Pretty sure they don't make the Bodyguard in 9mm. LifeInPa is right, I caught myself looking at a Walther PPK labeled 9mm and thinking "damn that's cool," and then quickly realized which 9mm they meant.
Here's a link to it on S&W's site.
