Default Oh God...Man shoots deer at Walmart

Just saw this on Fox News today. This is ridiculous, especially the wrap-up "Lucas says the buck is one of the nicest taken in the county in recent years" lol

BLAIRSVILLE, Pa. – A Pennsylvania man allegedly went deer hunting inside a Walmart parking lot.

Forty-year-old Arcangelo Bianco Jr. is charged with reckless endangerment for allegedly shooting across a highway to kill a 10-point buck he spotted in a Walmart parking lot in November. The incident occurred in Blairsville, Pa., which is 30 miles east of Pittsburgh.

Bianco faces a preliminary hearing May 1. His attorney didn't immediately return a call for comment Wednesday on charges reported by the Indiana Gazette.

The paper reports that on Nov. 26, at about 2 p.m., Bianco noticed the deer and jumped out of his truck and "began firing multiple rounds at the deer," citing court documents.

"The defendant pursued the deer through the parking lot and across Old William Penn Highway, where he killed the deer. The defendant then loaded the deer into his vehicle and took it to a meat processor for butchering," Jack Lucas, a wildlife conservation officer, told the paper.

Lucas says the buck is one of the nicest taken in the county in recent years.

That makes me laugh, not just because it was a Walmart parking lot, but because it was the blairsville parking lot, and this actually sounds like something that would go down there.

Because the local paper ran a story about the incident.

Must have been a slow news day....

    Pretty funny though.

For this season, maybe the guy is looking to put up a ladder stand on one of the parking lot lamp posts....and maybe bait'em in right near the cart return.....

That makes more sense then. NBC it would make sense for them to drag it up from months ago, but not Fox. Gotta love that opening sentence: "At the Resort Plaza Walmart, people can save a dollar. And, apparently, waste a buck as well."

May be funny, but idiots like that give us all a bad rap, particularly in todays climate.
Hope remove hunting privileges for a very long time!

As I read the article, one of the charges was hunting with out a license.

Even though I posted it as "funny"... I do also agree with you 110%.

They should prosecute to the fullest extent for this idiot.

I'm also thankful that no one was hurt.

I heard this one the radio on the way home from work. They said it was a really nice 10 point. They didn't mention anything about hunting without a license I don't think, which would be a big penalty.
