Full Auto friendly ranges/clubs ??
Are there any full auto(tax paid of course) friendly ranges in the area ?
Am an experienced user of MGs and SMGs. Hard to find a club where you can even shoot a semi at a rapid pace ! Too many Fudds around I guess.
Not talking about spraying lead all over. Responsible full auto fire from the shoulder or off bipod into the backstop.Hitting the target of course .
In answer to question " Why would you want to own a MG ?"
Well,it is FUN to shoot ! This is America and you CAN own one in most states.
You have to jump through many hoops,pay a $200 tax,form w/ photo,fingerprints and wait 3-6 months.
It is the antigunners dream of regulating gun ownership.
Not something to be taken lightly.
Would like to find a club that allows members to shoot full auto if they show they can do so safely.

We allow full auto at WSSA. The range committee must approve your use of FA. Start by submitting the special use request form. I'm not sure what their procedure is from there.
The special use request form is available on the web site in the downloads section. Mail it to the PO box. I'll pass it on to the range committee.

I think Freedom Armory in Glen Rock (exit 8 off 83) let's you shot FA. They rent FA kriss and tommy guns. The last time I was there someone was shooting FA in a rifle lane down in the basement. You should call to make sure.

Thanks for the info on West Shore Bobby.
Will send in my membership app.
Have been to the Freedom Armoury. Nice place,a bit pricey IMHO. Never much on indoor ranges except when it is raining hard.I like being outside. :-)

Oh this drives me nuts, and I don't even own full auto. Many of the clubs in Lancaster County don't allow rapid fire, and some don't even allow more than a few rounds in a Mag.
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. However, they are only like that because nobody stands up and fights back. Something to think about is getting involved in a club and trying to change the culture.
However, I know Mt Joy allows full auto on scheduled days (even though oddly they don't allow human targets).
