Given the position the defense is in right now it would be bordeline malpractice to put GZ on the stand.

But what if I'm right? Watch him get convicted, and one of the jurors says, "Well, we wanted to believe him, but he wouldn't take the stand, so..." Then where will you be?

What need would there be to put Zimmerman on the stand and subject him to Cross-Examination of the Prosecutor. Zimmerman already testified at the trial, basically when the Prosecutor played his interview with Sean Hannity. Some people said the Defense should have objected to this, but it was a brilliant move on the Defense's part. Zimmerman gets to tell his story to the jury through this interview AND NOT be subject to cross examination.

Personally I think this case was dead in the water when the Prosecution put on the first witness. She was a complete liar who couldn't get her lies straight. From there on out most of the LEO witnesses were pro-Zimmerman and pretty pissed that the State of Florida did not trust their judgment.

The Prosecution has not met their burden of beyond a reasonable doubt. Zimmerman will walk.

Another hilarious thing is that the Prosecutor wanted the statement from the lead detective struck from the record. So at the end of the day the detective states he believes Zimmerman. First thing next morning the judge repeats this statement and then tells the jury to ignore it. Anyone will half a brain will pay extra attention to the statement. A very poor trial move on the Prosecutions behalf, which gives me the idea that the Prosecution may believe he has a losing case and he's giving it the old college try because of pressures from above.

Good point, and perhaps the prosecutor is not even giving it the old college try o.O. The portion of direct testimony I listened to sounded like it was the defense attorney questioning the witness ... but it wasn't!

In court filing an appeal because a juror admitted to basing her decision on Zimmerman's exercise of his Fifth Amendment rights?

Because Florida law says so, and the Supreme Court says it's OK

But fewer than six is not OK, apparently.

I think you are missing the big picture here of me being right. If Zimmerman needs to spend the rest of his life in jail, if the inner cities burn to a crisp, if Russian troops round us all up to FEMA camps, so be it......but still I'm.......

He'll be acquitted, and then the inner city types will use it as an excuse to loot and riot. Detroit, Camden, Philly, L.A., Chicago, Atlanta, etc. Just watch.

Prosecution is now attempting to show that going +1 is evil.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.
