Re: Glen's Gunshop
what it comes down to, is being in the right spot at the right.
milsurps are normally sold with in an hour, often minutes of him putting them up.
his normal inventory would be hunting rifles and shotguns.it's only metal, we can out think it....

Re: Glen's Gunshop
I can vouch for that. His typical inventory consists of handguns, hunting rifles, and shotguns.
Glenn does get some mil-surps, and they usually go really quickly, but he usually does have at least a few in the shop. A few weeks ago I saw a Yugo SKS on his work bench. I asked about it, it wasn't out for sale yet. He told me how much he wanted for it. I told him that if my friend doesn't want it, I do. I told my friend and the gun was sold before it was officially put out for sale. I saw a similar situation on an M-1 Carbine recently, , sold before it was put on display.
That's not to say that every military gun he gets is sold immediately, but I think it is testament to the fact that his prices aren't out of line.

Re: Glen's Gunshop
Force,
I'm glad you were asleep at the wheel. That was one of my all time great deals. Another was at Cabela's bargain cave. I bought 2 Doctor Optics for $99 apiece.
Stuff like that makes up for some of my stupid gun follys.
All this talk about Glenn's makes me want to go over on Thurs. Last Thurs. I couldn't get in his parking lot it was so full. Had to go to Enck's gun barn. But, I came home with 2 lowers and a Yugo underfolder.
Take Care.

No, but I'm sure you'd tell me if I ask. If I ask real nice will you let me shoot the M1 you just got?
That being said, it's best to call before you go to his shop any time from now through March. I think he'll be gone at least a week or 2, not sure when he's leaving.

Re: Glen's Gunshop
I dont think he is going just yet. I sold the sp89 he had and were still waiting for the guys payment, he didnt bring anything up about a trip.
I saw that aimpoint and asked him to sell it seperate from that gun it was on. He said make me an offer and i just told him I will be back tuesday. Like a fool I should have taken it then ...
