Re: ***2018 Second Amendment Harrisburg Rally*** 4/30/18
Hey folks,
Planning on attending the rally (first timer), and wanted to inform my state representative about the situation surrounding Wolf's "state of emergency" regarding the opioid "crisis", and the open carry of firearms without an LTCF.
Wasn't there a PA senate bill introduced a year ago which removes the unlicensed open carry of firearms restriction during times of an emergency? I thought it was SB 26 but I cannot seem to find it.
Thanks in advance.
*Edit* I found it. It's SB 36: http://www.legis.state.pa.us//cfdocs...cosponId=21031Last edited by dudley76; March 29th, 2018 at 11:22 AM. Reason: Found answer.

This is a rally followed by FACE TIME with our reps and senators when you go to their offices and say HI, I am one of yours and I own guns and vote! It is the best way to get and keep their attention focused in our favor, or in the case of antis maybe put a little fear into them. It does not get better than that.
They work in a gun free, but guarded zone, so it is up to you to decide if you want to send a message in person or stay outside. I know which I will do. While there you might want to ask why they have guards and our schools mostly do not.Illegitimus non carborundum est

Re: ***2018 Second Amendment Harrisburg Rally*** 4/30/18
The capital building is technically a court house. Unless there's a change in current law you can not carry in a court building. If you don't want to check your firearm you can attend and stay outside the building. As was already said, the point of this is not only a show of numbers, but to get people in the reps offices to actually talk to them on a personal level.
If you just want to march and not actually go inside to do anything, there's other rallies coming up that are more geared towards that.
