Not the greatest pic but its there, on top of the Acog. Maybe he'll grace us with some better ones.
Hey guys, about to try and take some better pics for you. I'm gonna take the AR out on the balcony and see what I can do, though the natural lighting is pretty crappy as it's cloudy and miserable right now. Also, I'm only working with an iPhone camera, so we'll see how it goes.

Here are the pics...they're the best I can do.

Last pic the dot looks bigger than it really does due to the focus on the housing rather than the dot. The second pic down is a pretty accurate representation of how the dot actually looks to the shooter in terms of size. And yes, I know the Docter needs cleaning

For me that was one reason for considering the PA. It can easily be upgraded/swapped out for one of the others.

I read good things about the Docter. Thanks for the pics NAV.

How does it work for you in the light (bright sun) dark? Transitions?

Does it auto adjust or is it user adjustable?

    Any issues? Battery life?

    Any pics?

Sorry man ... just hungry for info.
Battery life is approximately three years, and I definitely haven't had any issues. I've actually been thrilled with it so far, and like it alot more than my Burris. It works really well in all conditions, and the adjustments are perfect in transitions. It's easier for me to find the dot on the Docter than on the Burris as well. Overall I'd say you can't go wrong with it at that price point, and I'd pick it over a Burris for sure.

Seven MOA is too large a dot for my tastes. Not precise enough. I like dots to be in the 3-4 MOA size for my pistols (Jpoints).

The listed MSRP on that page is $599.00

That's like 30 or 40% more than the Leupold!

Yeah, let me pay 3x more than a Burris Fastfire or double the price of a Docter for a Chinese optic.

    That'll be the day.

I'm not sure what's up with the Docter sight but SWFA is closing them out at $250. I wonder if there are new models coming out?
