Chiappa LA322 .22LR Takedown
I want a lever action for plinking. I like the idea of being able to play with multiple ammo types and I grew up watching "The Rifleman" (who doesn't want to be Chuck Connors!??)
I came across the Chiappa and it looked interesting but I have never seen this rifle before? Anyone have any feedback?"If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy."

Never seen one in person just know that it’s going to most likely be an import from Turkey or maybe Italy. I don’t know what kind of customer service and repair they have if you get a dud.
Late note:
Looks like it’s made in Italy like slot of other western type revolvers and lever actions. Nice looking rifle a bit to pricey and fancy for a .22lr for me.Last edited by Hodgie; August 25th, 2018 at 10:55 AM.

It looks like a Marlin 39A which is a fantastic, albeit heavy, lever gun; but according to Jeff Quinn it's not the same internally. Looks like a nice rifle, but for the price, I'd buy a Henry. Henrys are American made and their customer service is the best in the market on the rare occasion you need them.

Agree with the Henry. You can find the base model Hoo1 on sale for Black Friday most every year. As for Chiappa guns- they are called Criappa for a reason.
All of my guns are lubed with BACON GREASE.
