Re: NRA support for Supreme Court Justice 5-19-09
Keep in mind that she also tried to out an internet poster over political speech. She's also got a sister in the state Senate, which is going to lead to an awfully lot of recusals.
Based on that, she's not getting my vote. According to his website, Paul Panepinto is also A-rated by the NRA (and he's from Philly). If that's true, he ought to get the "mutant republican" vote just out of general principle.
He gives the party a much greater chance of actually landing the seat.Last edited by pyld; May 18th, 2009 at 12:52 AM.

Just wanted to pass on the information. Everyone must make a personal decision as to who they vote for in any election. However, your input was well stated. Thank you.

I agree. In this case, the NRA is following the state-committee money train and little else. Somewhat disappointing. Her bit with "Grant Street '99" was OTT, for those who enjoy amendments besides the 2nd.
She also lost to Max Baer (not exactly a strong Democratic candidate) for a PA Supreme Court seat in 2003.
