Mossberg 14" PGO
I've seen a few older threads on this and there still seems to be debate about the legality of the Mossberg 14" barreled PGO with the bird's head grip. Not to really open up an old can of worms, so here's a question. Does anyone have any experience with Elk County Ammo and Arms in St. Marys? They are currently selling a version from Asylum Weaponry. Do they have them in their possession? Certainly if they were not PA legal, they would already be in deep water for just having them in the state, and for selling them without NFA paperwork/transfer.
For sale on their website: http://www.ammoandarmsstore.com/shop...gauge-non-nfa/
and on Gunbroker: http://www.gunbroker.com/item/612484316
and also selling the 14" barrel conversion kit on Gunbroker: http://www.gunbroker.com/item/612559319

Re: Mossberg 14" PGO
Well, around $350 for a 500/590 plus about $200 for the kit. Or $200 for the SBS stamp to cut you own barrel on a stocked shotgun. How short could the barrel be on a 500/590, or an 870, without shortening the mag tube, arms, etc.?

Re: Mossberg 14" PGO
Mine is 12 inches. It's cut flush with the end of the tube. It's a rem 870 with a 18 inch barrel the plain Jane 300 dollar one so plus tax stamp and cut work is like 600 bucks

I think a mossburg ends up around 15" without modifying the tube

No one hit the point of this. The PGO can be loaded in your car like a pistol.

Re: Mossberg 14" PGO
Actually, my hope for this thread was to see if someone had some insight into Elk County Ammo and Arms in St. Marys listed in my OP. If the birds head Mossberg is supposedly a PA illegal firearm, I can't see how they haven't had their license revoked, assets confiscated, and are awaiting trial on criminal charges.
