Default Is Penn State for real?

Will they go undefeated this year?
    Is their defense good enough?

It's nice that JoePa gives players their turn but would they have been better off playing the current QB instead of Morelli last year?

I have no idea, but the student section was quite insane last night.

I usually enjoy the games and last night was no exception.

Went to PSU and my son is now attending at Behrend.

Offense is looking pretty damn good. My son and his girlfriend were at the game last night. Both graduated from PSU last year.

First game i went to was in '82 (Alabama i think).
Last was '85 (Notre Dame in the rain).
    I graduated in Jan '86.
One of my bosses also went to PSU. I tell him we won't win National title unless the send me back for classes. He's not buying it.

Hell yes. The only reason Morelli started was because he was a senior.

Two things upped their stock this week. First, Illinois looked like a decent team although they really have not beat anyone decent yet. They played Missouri in week 1 and lost 52-42 so their defense is not too good. Second, Oregon St beating USC makes PSU look pretty good. I will still withold judgement until they play Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio St. If they do not beat all 3 then it's just another decent year where they go and win a bowl game against a so-so team. Sorry to be skeptical but I hate seeing them lose to OSU and Mich.

One of my sons is a Freshman there this year. He was never a football fan but NOW he is. Parents weekend is next weekend, hummmm wonder if there is an away game or home game. Since we'll be there anyhow it would be fun to go.

Heck I hate football, but I still go to the games to stream like an idiot. I believe the next home game is against Michigan on the 18th. I think it's our homecoming as well.
