Wonder if this also plays in the background of the lawsuit PA AG Shapiro just filed in May against the founders and owners of the company that created Oxycontin?
It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.

Narcotics prohibition just creates a profitable black market for criminals to exploit and the drugs being sold are impure and laced with all sorts of crazy shit making them more dangerous. Furthermore, prohibition forces addicts to resort to crime to support their habit. Addicts who don't respond to treatment should be able to get their dose of smack from a clinic. It will be of pure quality and used in a medical setting. It will take the market away from criminal cartels and addicts wouldn't have to resort to crime to support their habit as it could be sold much cheaper than the black market rate. Rant over.......
The British do something like this, and they don't have all of the violence that we have associated with hard drugs. Of course they blame "guns" in our case.

I think Auditor General Eugene DePasquale should be barraged with emails now. He's a Dem but really fair and does he job properly with no partisanship bias. He's possibly the only Democrat in PA I respect. Met him before too.

DO you know the process and details well enough to explain it to us, so we can be accurate when writing the Auditor General?

I don't know all the details, but it's known that during a declared state of SoE the state doesn't have to go through the normal acquisition process to get what they need. Meaning, they don't have to go through a bid process to get the whatever it is for the lowest price. They can basically put out no bid contracts and choose what they want based upon the time frame it takes to get. There's no other viable reason to have a continuing SoE, as it does nothing. Martial law wasn't declared, overtime for first responders doesn't need to be approved, it's all about buying the narcan at inflated prices. It needs to be investigated.

I wonder how much the company that's supplying the narcan has contributed to his campaign? Something that a real investigative press should be asking.

Is that true? If so, there's definitely a sign of corruption.
