Suggest you consider the advisability of transporting a handgun during the NJ portions of your trip to Pa.

Yes, since PA no longer recognizes Utah, you can get a Utah permit with out the PA permit. Of course it will be of no use to you in PA.

That's what many of us in Maryland did in order to carry in PA. I will be able to renew my Utah permit, unfortunately, I will not be able to use to carry concealed in PA. It's now nothing more than a cheap lock-picking device.

PA by statute recognizes all permits for vehicle carry. so you could still carry concealed in a vehicle in PA.

Our attorney general is making it impossible for non residents to carry here with out of state permits. If you have a permit from your home state you can apply here in Pa. Cheap and easy to get.

Non-resident LTCF obtained for the sole purpose of carrying in states having reciprocity or recognition is a ridiculously necessary response to ridiculous (and unconstitutional) gun laws, and is an example of what's wrong-headed about people saying "but it's the law" to many stupid laws.

It was the law in European countries in the 1500s to possess a bible printed ONLY in Latin. Having a bible printed in English would get you the death penalty by burning at the stake. "It's the law" is a mindless answer to things that are just wrong or not based upon reality.

"It's the law" doesn't cut it when the law renders a person defenseless...especially when the law-makers and enforcers are surrounded by defense measures for themselves.

"Its the law" is a crock of sh|t.

Theres a difference between legal and legitimate laws. There are a ton of illegitimate laws on the books.

What are we supposed to do, challenge every one of them to the SCOTUS?

This is when pafoa needs to mobilize. Bitching and moaning about it isn't going to accomplish anything. We need to find an attorney that will take this on, fund the attack, plan it, and then execute that motherfucker with extreme prejudice.

I think her plan is to cancel every state until PA is like other Northeast States, honoring their permits only.

Then they can start dismantling the Shall Issue system.

See, every state in the NE with an urban crime center (NYC, Camden, Baltimore, DC) has sh|t gun laws.

PA, however (even with Philthy), was able to dodge the bullet.

Okay, I checked on a couple of sources. It seems that The BCI in Utah responded to the letter they received asking what sort of reciprocity agreement the AG's office WOULD honor, and Robert Mulle (the guy who signed the letter from Harrisburg) said he would have to go back up through the correct channels to see if Kane's office is interested. Who knows how long this is going to take.

The BCI in Utah is starting to get hammered with phone calls from PA. They are super laid back and accept everyone's license/permit, and I feel kind of bad for them, catching some of the firestorm as a result of this crap
