    My wife wants to try her hand at it on the 18th of december.We plan on live broadcasting it on the web from our website.It should be fun stalking a hog with a bow. We heard that the pork is better than any other anyone who went ever tasted.

    hogs (and most other wild animals) are best hunted after first heavy frost and before easter. lower pest load in that time and best meat quality before end of january. also best conditions for aging.

    I would love to try this with my compound bow. Are there stands set up or do you hunt off the ground or in a blind? Sounds like quite the challenge.

    The island doesn't have any tree stand hunts.They said they tried that with no luck.he hogs get hit and run to the water.

    Aging pork? I have never heard of that.
    Yeah, the hogs are probably left to wander on a famr then rounded up and transported to keep them from getting loose.If it flooded they would be more likely to get off the island.
