    Default Got to handle a...

Today I was browsing through the hunting section of a store today. Not really looking for anything in particular, just killing some time. I was walking around the used gun rack and noticed a nice shotgun, so I picked it up and shouldered it. The thing was light as a feather and fit me like a glove. Now recently Ive been having the urge to get a nice trap gun, and I think I might have found it. It was a Winchester SX3, with a hefty price tag of around $850. Next to it sat a Remington 1100, I shouldered it and didnt like the feel. It was a little too heavy and didnt feel as balanced as the Winchester, not to mention the LOP was about 2" too short for me. Now im no expert on Semi-auto Shotguns but what do you guys think of the SX3? Is their any other shotguns that are worth comparing to? Since its so light hows the recoil on 3" shells? Thanks guys.

Check out some Patrick Flannigan videos on Youtube and decide for yourself. Winchester makes some fantastic shotguns.

BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

Did the LOP actually vary 2"?

    That is a HUGE variation.

the one I looked at had a 14" LOP. I was reading online and apparently a lot of guys were having issues with them not chambering or ejecting bulk pack shells, and having the guns malfunction in cold weather. Did winchester adress these problems? Most of the reviews seem to be from 2009 or earlier. For $809 + tax I think it would be a hard gun to beat for that price..

EDIT: yeah Lycan it felt like it was atleast a 2" difference between the two.
