I bought a Ruger SP101 and a Ruger P94 in 1995.

My first was a Taurus 85 around 1993.
It worked just fine but was replaced by a mint Ruger Police Service Six In 1995.
I still have the Ruger and don’t see myself ever parting with it.

Actually would be a Gen 2, as there were no Gen 1 G-19s for all practical purposes. If it is actually Gen-1 with the smooth grips you have a true rarity.

Well it was the first generation I knew. Since then I have lost count. Its long been gone.

A glock 26 in 2008. I almost got a smith and Wesson glock clone (sw40ve or something like that) but it sold before i could buy it. My third is a 1903 Springfield (1918, but with a newer barrel) from my father.
