Re: long term walther pps reviews
From what I have seen on the various boards the PPS guns seem to be holding up well. Walther makes a fine firearm and I would feel comfortable using one as a daily carry gun. I have no experience with the PPS but I was curious as to how the trigger pull is. I am very interested in purchasing one for a CCW piece once I move to a more friendly locale such as Pennsylvania. I figure more options than my Glock 26 would be useful to have.

Based on my experience and IMHO, you made a fine choice. Kahr makes a good DAO handgun. The CW40 should last you a lifetime. I also like the .40 round's ballistics. Some believe it is better than the .45. With training and practice, you can accommodate to the round's snappiness

Thanks Bruce, I thought so.
These are the times that try men's souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Thomas Paine 1776

Re: long term walther pps reviews
This is an old one, but I'm gonna dig it back up.
The purpose was to discuss the long term reviews on the PPS. So I'll throw in my 3 cents.
I've had my PPS for almost 3 years, and have probably just a hair over 1500 rounds through it. I purchased it new, and have yet to have a failure. I carry it most of the time, and would easily stake my life on it.
It's accurate, has a consistent trigger pull, and isn't all that aggressive for a small gun. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable little 9 or 40 CCW.Last edited by FishBizkit; March 10th, 2014 at 10:53 PM.

PPS .40. Flawless after a year or so. But the recoil is stiff.
