how does this compare to OAKS and Split rock? not sure i want to make the LONG drive unless its worth it. saw some OVERPRICED ammo at OAKS, 270 rounds of M2 ball 30-06 Korean for 240$!!!! when its $150 shipped online from SG. it was hit and miss at the last few OAKS shows, do your homework and know what you are looking for.

I was in the area for the last one and it was pretty good. No guns at prices I'd even consider (maybe if I was looking for something in particular but no crazy deals) but tons of accessories. I ended up picking up a LBV, some G19 mags for cheap, and of course some ammo cans.

i've marked my calendar-i havent been to a gun show at the farm show since i was like 14. its time.

any recommendations? at 1200 tables, its bound to be overwhelming.

Harrisburg is the best around - big, wide aisles, I always come home with no money and tons of great stuff. You will get a lot of bashers though - mainly "they charge for parking, I won't go" and "not the same as it use to be" - lol. I have been going to the Harrisburg show for many years, and have always left happy - I'd rather pay and extra $8 to park for a big, good show with real gun/ammo/accessory dealers than no parking for a crappy show. I've never felt like travelling to Oaks, but from what everyone I know that goes to both say they are comparable, Oaks perhaps a little better some times, not as good others ???

So inventory will be lacking a bit.

I see there is a Home and Hot Tub Show the same weekend as the gunshow at the Farm Show complex. Does anyone know if that means the gunshow is pushed to the smaller area? I would assume it will be?

Are you still not allowed to carry at this event? I have not attended a Gun Show yet that won't let me carry. Wondering how many of you are going that normally boycott places that don't let you carry.

Probably gonna be in the "newest" edition but still plenty of room. Last year i got a steal on a auto-ordnance carbine for $100 less than any LGS i found around here so it is possible to get good deals but i do agree with earlier statements about gun prices themselves being high. i also 100% fully agree that this is the place to get accessories and could stumble into a hard to find new gun or even an old firearm you may want to add to your collection.Oh and there is jerky too
