Is it illegal to do this to an actual carbine?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsPN7Iprfp0
If this was performed on an actual firearm, would it be illegal? It's technically not a fully-automatic.Last edited by StealthBeast; August 28th, 2008 at 08:26 PM.

Re: Is it illegal to do this to an actual carbine?
Yeah, that's the "shoestring" method and if done to a title-1 firearm your in violation of the NFA.
MOst turds did it with Mini-14's
I wonder if there were any Registered Shoestrings though.................
LOL another AIrsoft video..... I wanted to see dude fire a real DE Full auto/shoestring mode and watch it fly out his hands.
"This is the hardest kicking airsoft" LOL
According to the BATFEATME! tech branch. The shoestring is a Machinegun itself cause it acts as an autosear.
ALl my shoes are velcro.. just to be safe.Last edited by Stooperzero; August 28th, 2008 at 08:47 PM.

Re: Is it illegal to do this to an actual carbine?
"The term “machinegun” means any weapon which shoots, is designed to shoot, or can be readily restored to shoot, automatically more than one shot, without manual reloading, by a single function of the trigger. The term shall also include the frame or receiver of any such weapon, any part designed and intended solely and exclusively, or combination of parts designed and intended, for use in converting a weapon into a machinegun, and any combination of parts from which a machinegun can be assembled if such parts are in the possession or under the control of a person."
If that means I can't use this technique on an actual semi-automatic, then that also implies that I cannot have shoelaces on while firing a semi-automatic, as they may can be assembled under my control to create a "machine gun" XD
Is it possible to register my twine and paperclip and do it legally? lol
It is. It feels like 1/4 of a .22lr round lol. That's crazy for an airsoft gun, most airsoft guns don't even vibrate.Last edited by StealthBeast; August 28th, 2008 at 09:00 PM.

Re: Is it illegal to do this to an actual carbine?
Two things.
1. If you do this to a gun you're going to get in trouble. Bottom line.
2.What's up with the XD? Every so often you'll throw an XD into your posts.
Is this some kind of new internet slang that i'm unaware of? Do you have tourettes syndrome of the keyboard?
What's that all about? XD
