Thumb break holster question
I acquired a holster for my colt detective special and I have some questions about it. It's a bianchi 111 made specifically for my pistol with the 2" barrel. It is pretty old and when i unsnap the thumb break the flap stays just stays right in the way and make it difficult to draw the pistol smoothly. Is there a way i can reshape the thumb strap so that when it's released if goes straight up and out of the way? If there is no easy way to do this would it be a horrible thing to just cut the strap off? the gun is pretty tight in the holster. I'm not too worried about retention as I won't be carrying this gun except at the range. any suggestions are welcome.

Re: Thumb break holster question
Wet it, use a popsicle stick, pen, whatever to hold it straight, let it dry. Might be able to reshape it.
Please help my Baby Kitties and I avoid being homeless.
