Finally bought a gun with a happy switch!

5.45x39 model "1" dissipator upper, carbine gas system and YHM free float

sitting on my first lower build. (spikes ST15 multi)

Now I wait for the charging handle, spikes 5.45 bolt and ammo.

Nice! Let's see some video whenever Uncle Sam decides you're worthy of owning this beast.

I am assuming that "the wait" refers to the more-involved transfer of a full-auto.

Yeah, average transfer time is about 6 months now. But it's worse, because this particular one is still waiting to to be approved from an individual to the dealer that I bought it from, so it might be another 4-5 months before I can even START the paperwork. So it could be close to a year before it's in my hands.

Went with the Kino configuration I see........nice choice....can't wait to see it complete.....

......Now back up.....put the gun down.....and get me a pack of tropical fruit bubblicious......

Walther P-38. Got tired of the circus with Classic & the K98 perma-hold telephone system†, so I bought this.

The bore is a tad pitted at the chamber, the photo makes it look far worse than it really is. Bore is somewhere between frost to very light pitting. This is directly out of the box, I have no attempt to clean it. Obviously shootable.

Upshot: all numbers match, really good shape & it's a looker. Looks like all the original markings survived, no "X" anywhere. Very tiny import mark, same as Dogpupkus.
