Bought a mosin at Sarco yesterday. Cool place with nice staff and atmosphere. One of the staff noticed I was wiping all the Cosmo on my pants and came over and handed me some napkins. Ammo is a little expensive but as someone previously stated, that's what walmart is for. I will be back!

$130 just the mosin, $140 with accessories (bayonet, sling, ammo pouch, firing pin tool, and oil can).

Last June my son picked one up at Sarco's for $100 with all the goodies. I guess we did good. While I was there I picked up a case of ammo so I beat the shortages.

Sadly, given the present situation, you did OK. At least you probably got to inspect many and pick one you really liked. I see Mosin bayonets alone selling for $25 or more, so +$10 for the accessories is good.

For ammo keep an eye on the forum here, and on Classic Arms (have it in stock), AIM Surplus, J&G Sales, and my favorite- Cope Distributing ($9.95 shipping) and they're in Ohio so it arrives quickly. Many vendors may not have it in stock right now.

link for Classic Arms. Its a little pricey

I'll 2nd this. I know Butch personally and they do not sell reloaded ammo whatsoever. I'll also second what others have said that this is a reputable shop and they are good guys.
