If you blink it may be gone.

    Marlin 336W 30-30

I just bought this and I'm in the process of trying to buy another rifle, but I just had to put several hundred dollars of work into my truck, so it looks like this one is going to have to go. (Already have a potential buyer)

For you guys who were beating up on the fellow who had the scope mount on his lever rifle.....well, here's my Marlin 45-70XLR with a Picatinny Mount made just for it, and my Leupold scope with QD rings. Of course, there is always the Williams receiver peep sight that is a must for adjusting when your daylight shots need bombing out to 300 yards. (And yes....it's dead on at that distance with my reloads.)

But.....the scope is a real handy device when your out there right before the ass crack of dawn and a deer is 40 to 60 yards away and you just can't tell if there are horns on it or not. Same in the evening. Once I have sunlight, the scope comes off.

In addition to the Marlin I also have a Winchester 94-22 in 22-Mag, another Winchester 94-22 in 22-LR, and my first rifle I ever bought, a Winchester Model 88 Lever in .308.

Interesting. I was wondering the same thing. At first I thought you were going to say that the tube mag was buggered up and it could only shoot one at a time.

I love, love, love this rifle! It's lightweight, very accurate out of the box, and shooting 38 special makes it feel like a rimfire.

If you love your lever post up some pics

Very nice Marlin. A couple questions, Where did you get the rail? Where did you get the rear sight? Thanks

Nothing too special about this one. Marlin 1894C, .357 Mag., got it in a trade almost new in box. Looked like the previous owner had shot it once or twice, greased it and let it sit. Came with all paperwork and tags too.
