Shouldn't it be "business casual" at worst, not sure a t-shirt makes the 'responsible citizen' statement that should accompany formal interaction with the sausage making machine.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say you have never been to the rally.
If you saw what people wear you would get the joke.
Why don't you come on out and show the 2A some support this year.
The 2A is in trouble and we need everyone that can be there to show up.
I will even throw in a t-shirt for you if you make the trip.

How did it go? I was unable to make it, my son was being extra fussy today so we had to stay home.

I had biscuits with sausage gravy and bacon.

So it went well.



I was there early, about 7:20 and waited about 15 minutes for the next arrival, which was V-MAN, so I was worried if anyone else was coming. The hostess had no idea we were coming, someone forgot to call.

I asked for the "room in the back" expecting a closed-off banquet room, but it was really just the back of the restaurant, not really separated.

We ended up with about 20, good turnout.



We had a lot of OCers. I noticed there was a nice young Mom with a baby sitting at the tbe beside us who arrived right after me. She left pretty quickly...fast eaters I suppose, at least yesterday they were.

"I'm looking for a group" I said to the hostess.

She replied in a friendly voice, "oh, the 2A group".

"Yep, they guys with the guns".

She looked down at my hip and quickly stated, "I don't think we allow that here"!

"I'll cover it up"

"Ok, great, they're all in the back" she said with a smile.

Nothing else was ever said. When I got to the table I noticed a few other handguns in the open. The staff hadn't noticed a thing; most people never do...

Wow...we were pretty much all OCing. That's a little scary that people are that non-observant.

I guess my navy suit made her think I was an undersized cop. REPO looks like a drill sergeant, so no one's questioning him.

To be fair to her, I did have my jacket on when I came in. I ditched it after the speeches, it was too hot for that.
