Wink Re: Who here carries a "back up" firearm and where do you conceal?

primary 29 or 30 in a sob galco. bug db380 in a super fly pocket holster strong side. this is not a everyday scenario, just when i feel the need. some times it is just the bug such as a quick trip outside or out back in the shop. hmmm it just occurred to me why my neighbors are so friendly.

I always have either my 642 or lcp in my front pocket, so when i feel like bringing something a little bigger with me either one of them end up being the bug.

Good post OP, it reminds me that i really should carry a BUG, i bought a Ruger LCP and a Beretta Bobcat just for this purpose and still yet fail to carry a BuG.

Currently apart from my Primary (currently my FNP.40) i carry a extra mag summer or winter doesnt matter and 2 knives , a SOG flash cipped to the right pocket and a Kershaw skyline clipped to the left pocket.

Good wake up post though, better be ready for all eventuality, and trouble can find you anywhere wether its a "shithole" like Allentown or your own living room, just read the news section here most of the people who are assaulted or killed on here were assaulted or killed in their own home.

Primary - Glock 23 w/nightsights, glassbreaker, and epic visual mods
    Secondary - Winchester folding knife

Eventually I plan on picking up a small .380 or something to tuck in a pocket or in an ankle holster.

Primary: Smith and Wesson SD9 16+1 9mm, OWB strong side.

BUG: Ruger LC9 7+1 9mm in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster, weak side front pocket.

I've found that my OWB holster gets somewhat in the way of my strong front pocket, so I moved the back-up to the other side, which also helps in case I lose use of my right arm for any reason.

Also in my pockets are keys (stripped down to the bare essentials), chapstick, a mini-bic lighter, my wallet (also stripped down) and brick cell phone (HTC Thunderbolt in an otterbox, it's probably 5"x3"1")

Anytime. Since it's getting cold out (had to put on the heat in the house today!) I'm going to switch to a full size .40 for primary and probably a 9mm for back up

I OC a Glock 20 or XDm and will carry a LC9 at 5 o'clock in a tuckable IWB holster. The LC9 is so light and small I forget it's there, especially when that fully loaded Glock 20 is hanging off my gun belt.

    Depends.

    Common Carry Guns:
    XD 9 3", 4"
    LCP (.380).

When I work armed (Act 235), I carry a BUG. Usually my LCP in pocket or shoulder rig. I've played with the 3" XD SC in a IWB tuckable holster on my support side... Not totally in love with it.

Day to day? I occasionally carry the LCP in the pocket or shoulder rig. Wintertime, I tend towards having it in my jacket pocket. Otherwise, I use the LCP more as a "only thing I can conceal today" gun than a BUG.

Oh, and the shoulder rig? It's a kydex holster on a Mercharness... Mine is Raven Concealment, but there are a few folks making them. It's pretty comfortable with a lightweight gun (and invisible).
